Kaizen Lifestyle:ARE YOU A MURSE MAN/SATCHEL MAN?
ARE YOU A MURSE MAN/SATCHEL MAN?
So you are the 21st century man, with an active social life, a great job, a German car and a two legged hot accessory by your side rocking the latest designer threads. Shes holding her latest nine west oversized hand bag oh wait you also holding your leather sling bag ok a satchel or murse (man purse) .
Is there anything wrong with that picture? My old schooled uncle would call me names but KAIZEN LIFESTYLE would think that’s a big yes or not? But question is what do you carry in your satchel? Car keys, wallet, cell phone lip stuff and then what? hand lotion, hand sanitizer, facial tissues, your little black book, hair bush, a fragrance? Has international fashion trends turned us men to into mannequins or worse into women wannabes? Some dude might say it makes practical sense to carry one rather that weighing you pockets with all those essentials another might ask why does a man need all these other things, while another might prefer to keep them in the car.
Who can forget that scene from the movie hangover when chubby guy is asked if what he was carrying was a man bag and his reply was “it’s a satchel” Should I even discuss the fake Gucci, Louis vuitton, mont blanc satchels that we see all over town including the ones by our own celebrities. These days we use tablets like the ipad and the Samsung tab which you wouldn’t dare put inside your pockets and not like they would fit. A fashionista friend of mine told me that backpacks are making a come back which to be honest they are much more practical should I say more masculine? We see more professionals carrying backpacks to the office so maybe he is right, in a year or two we will all be carrying backpacks. Trends come and go but at the end of the that we do what works for us as individuals with or without the fear of being called names.

Kaizen Lifestyle: Winter Scents
WINTER SCENTS
Winter is upon us meaning its time to reshuffle our closets and take out those coats and knits. Does it mean the way we smell must also change? Yes. In summer we dress light and colourful hence our fragrances will be fresh, fruity and very light. In winter we layer our clothes wearing more, it’s the vest, the shirt the knit then the coat so you will need a stronger fragrance that will still stand out despite being covered by all those winter items. The question which is which notes does one go with, firstly we get four major fragrance groups: florals, oriental, woody and fresh. In winter try to avoid fresh and florals rather go for the woody and orientals these are more heavy, sensual and spicy. These notes last longer, think leather, forests and tobacco they are very manly, strong and full bodied. Pick from these winter favourites and you sure to keep warm.
