“LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WEAR BORING CLOTHES” not too sure who said that, but it’s a quote beyond true.
In fashion colour is the spice, variety is the joy and detail is never minor it is what makes an outfit an outfit. Yet way too many people are going through life in dull, outdated and simply wrong clothes. Which gets me wondering, who exactly is to blame for that. Is it the designers, the fashion industry at large, is the media selling wrong images or does the majority of our nations population just not have any sense of style, whatsoever.
Fashion is about illusions, inspiring, personality, uniqueness and most of all a tight link to identity. Its often been said that when you look good you feel good, not when you think look good which is how many people fall victim to bad fashion or no style at all. Dressing well according to who you are, what you do and what’s current is not just for a select few but it is a personal projection of each individual. Here’s a tip or two for all our readers: style is not defined by price, or trying too hard nor is it by body shape, it is merely an extension of who we are. We all have it in us, after all there are only so many make-over’s that can be done for the rest, get in touch with your inner self, keep up and stay BLACK. From make-up, to hair and all have fun with it, make an impression.
